Each handle is done in a classic form and is finely engraved with a detailed horseshoe and angel or bird wing crest. The back of each spoon is marked with the tower mark for Edinburgh, the thistle for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter A for the year 1832 and a maker's mark.
