Antique Scottish Arts & Crafts Sterling & Amethyst Brooch-Celtic Thistle Design. Fine antique Scottish Arts and Crafts era sterling brooch. Decorated in the form of a thistle with a cut amethyst as the flowering top and a Celtic design on the stem.

Early 20th century (see hallmarks). Signed with the maker's mark "RA" and a complete set of British hallmarks on the reverse. LENGTH : 3 5/16 (105 mm). CONDITION : Good condition with slight wear and tarnish. Tiny shallow chip to one edge of the stone, almost invisible.
